The RESTORE Program starts with and emphasizes breath work, which is the key to healing and having a strong core. The Restore Program is for those women who want to see a Pelvic PT and can't or those that want to get guidance as they get back into exercise. Making sure that they are optimizing their body's movements, healing any pelvic floor (or other muscular) dysfunction and not putting them at risk for causing issues like incontinence, prolapse or pain! Whether you already have some leaking, pain or prolapse already or if you are just wanting to be proactive, this is for you!
Yes you can! The first 8 weeks are appropriate during pregnancy and you can start as early as you would like! Just be aware throughout the program if you have any issues to let Dr. Des know in the private community or during group coaching calls so she can modify or adjust things for you as needed! Then you can go through the entire program postpartum!
YES! This program is a wonderful option for postpartum recovery because it starts out with gentle breathwork and functional movement to make sure you are taking the steps to heal and avoid issues popping up as you return to activity. You may want to go through one week's content in a span of two weeks or at least wait on the last modules (impact, return to running, advanced core) until you are 16-20 weeks postpartum.
Yes! This program is for all women, mom or not! If you are wanting to heal from symptoms, or after a procedure or just want to make sure you are strengthening and exercising in an appropriate way to avoid issues, this program is for YOU! No matter your age or sex (while this program is aimed for women, men will benefit as well)
Each week there will be a new lesson that is about 15-30 min long. Otherwise you have options for a 5 min or 20 min workout routine that you will repeat that week, so that you can choose what you have time for and still make progress even with just 5 min a day! Ideally you aim for the 5 min routine daily (or 3-5x a week) and the 20 min routine 3-5x a week.
All the exercises inside the RESTORE program can be done with minimal to no equipment! Dr. Des will show you options for body weight (no equipment) and how to add resistance using bands, weights etc. Some exercises utilize a pilates ball, weights or yoga block, which can be replaced by pillows or other household items.
If you have any type of pain (pelvic, vaginal, back, hip etc) or even pain with intercourse, you will want to prioritize the first couple weeks before moving on to the strengthening and restoring side of the program. Many members resolve their pain in the first couple weeks and are able to move through the rest of the program without an issue! If this is you please inform Dr. Des so she can give you more guidance and individual feedback in the group coaching calls or private community!

When seeing me in person one-on-one it costs $200-$240/session, so once this 10 wk program is out of its beta stages, it will be $997 (saving you >$1000 compared to in person)!
